BMW 5 Series G60 G61

The eighth generation of the BMW 5 Series consists of the BMW G60 (saloon model) and BMW G61 (estate model, marketed as 'Touring') executive cars. The G60 has been produced since July of 2023 by the German automaker BMW and, is often collectively referred to as the G60. It was officially announced on 24 May 2023 and sales began in October 2023. The battery electric version called the BMW i5 was launched simultaneously with the regular gasoline powered sedan. A long-wheelbase saloon model (G68) exclusive to China debuted in August 2023 and it is assembled at the Dadong plant. The fastback derivative, the 6 Series Gran Turismo has been discontinued.
